Gasgoo Awards: Best Growth Value Award for 2022

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Gasgoo, China's leading automotive industry information service platform, on October 26, 2022, hosted the fourth "Gasgoo Awards" ceremony in Minhang, Shanghai. 

At this year's "Gasgoo Awards", the jury handpicked and honored 30 outstanding enterprises for the 2022 Best Growth Value Award.

Amid the aggressive reformation of intellectualization and electrification happening in the auto industry, the modality and supply chain of automobiles are all subjective to reconstruction. 

The automotive supply chain relationships were used to be vertically distributed in a pyramid model ranging from Tier 2 suppliers to Tier1 suppliers and then to automakers, from bottom to top. However, the new intelligent electric vehicle supply chain is emerging from the original pyramid-style multi-level system to a flat multi-agent collaboration model.

However, as the industry transforms, factors such as the rapid iteration of core technologies, complete vehicle products, user demands, personalization of user experience, SDV iterative R&D capability, and data-driven sustainable profitability gradually become the key to success in the current auto industry. 

Hence, despite automakers’ unchanged position at the heart of the supply chain, it is inevitable that car manufactures need to dive into the upstream supply chain to cooperate with upstream enterprises in order to build a more logical division of labor system for the development of intelligent vehicles. 

Correspondingly, the roles and status of upstream suppliers in the original automotive supply chain are also facing a dramatic change, with the boundary between Tier1 and Tier2 blurred, and more and more crossover companies entering in the intelligent electric vehicle field. 

Statistics show that there are over 5,600 existing companies in the field of autonomous driving alone, and the overall enterprise registrations have been on the rise in past decade. Among which the most popular subdivisions lie in millimeter wave radar, LiDAR, chip, domain controller, software algorithm, chassis-by-wire, information security, and several other core technologies. Upon years of accumulation, many enterprises have grown into essential partakers and innovators across China’s intelligent electric vehicle supply chain.

In an effort to uphold the "find valuable company, promote worthy technology" vision, Gasgoo added a “Best Growth Value Award” to this year’s Gasgoo Awards.  Qualified candidates of the Award are those forward-looking companies who are currently in the fast-growing phase, presenting new technologies, new ideas, and new patterns, who foresee the reformation of the automotive industry through the changing market climate, and who actively explore innovations. 

Finally, after more than 200 days of expert evaluation and millions of online votes, the 30 companies with the best growth value of the year were selected. Among the list are such integrated autonomous solution providers including Tsintel Technology, JueFX Technology, MaxSense Technology, Senior Automation, Utopilot, and Pegasus; companies specializing in niche technologies, such Leekr Technology, Tongyu Automotive, Trinova Technology in the field of intelligent chassis; Shanghai Tinychip，MorningCore, Semiment in the automotive chip field; Nova Electronics and Tanway Technology in the automotive sensor segment; as well as Panqi Technology and Vecentek in the information security domain.
