BAIC Group, BTL ink agreement to cooperate in chassis, car body, intelligent driving fields
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 31, Beijing-based automaker BAIC Group inked a five-year strategic cooperation agreement with Bethel Automotive Safety Systems Co., Ltd. (“BTL”) to strengthen their collaboration in chassis, car body, and intelligent driving fields.

Founded in 2004, BTL is a high-tech company specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of automotive braking system and intelligent driving system.
According to the agreement, BAIC Group and BTL will ride the general trend of technological innovation in the global automotive industry, jointly build a future-oriented system for core automotive component technologies, promote the technological innovation capability and product competitiveness of China's automotive industry, and will continue to explore the collaborative innovations and industrial applications in a wider range.
The signing of new agreement marked an important step for BAIC Group's supply chain safety strategy layout. The cooperation will further enhance the automaker’s technical R&D capability and supply chain efficiency regarding core components related to the automotive braking system and intelligent driving system. BAIC Group believes that the move will reinforce the stability of its supply chain and optimize costs.
