Dongfeng Peugeot 408X kicks off presale, starting from 145,700 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 21, Dongfeng Peugeot kicked off presales of the 408X in China with its four trim levels priced from 145,700 yuan to 179,700 yuan.

The 408X, which is built on the latest EMP2 V3 platform, boasts a unique blend of sporty handling, high off-road performance, coupe-style design, and practical cabin space. The 408X breaks away from traditional automotive design by combining unconventional elements preferred by younger consumers.

The 408X is coated with the world's first dual-color "Fantasy Blue" hue, which is illustrated with French-imported mica, Colorstream. The color showcases iridescent effects while maintaining a crystalline texture, shimmering with a bright blue color in strong light and a delicate metallic green in low light.

The 408X features a cutting-edge, 3D i-Cockpit immersive cabin centered around the driver. With a three-in-one digital interface of a 10.25 inch, 10.25 inch, and 9.7 inch screens, the cabin is installed with a naked-eye 3D high-definition instrument panel, which creates a 3D visual effect from the image projection on the high-transparency light guide plate.

The 408X is also equipped with the Blue-i X intelligent context interaction system, which supports quick and smooth interaction with a new UI, personalized ambient lighting, and immersive cabin settings, along with the i-Toggle function for efficient and fun driving experiences. The car boasts 35 digital convenience and technology features, including a fully automatic air conditioning system, wireless charging for mobile phones, a classic piano-style physical button layout, and a forest-grade air purification system.

The 408X comes standard with a 1.6T+8AT powertrain, with a peak torque of 250N·m and maximum power output of 129kW. The CLDR master sport chassis on the vehicle offers users three driving modes, namely, energy-saving, standard, and sports.
