Geely Automobile's monthly auto sales up 9% YoY in Mar. 2023
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Automobile) sold 110,300 vehicles in total in the third month of 2023, up 9% year on year, according to the company’s sales report issued on April 6.

In the first three months of the year, Geely Automobile’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 322,453 vehicles, notching down 1% from a year ago.
Among the vehicles sold in March, 28,093 units were new energy vehicles (NEVs), including 25,943 battery-electric vehicles (+118% YoY) and 2,150 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (-5% YoY). In addition, Geely Automobile shipped 20,125 vehicles overseas in the past month, indicating an outstanding soar of 158% from the year-ago period.
As to performance of individual brands, the Geely brand sold 88,239 vehicles in March this year, which went up 5% from a year ago. With 18,290 vehicles sold, its electric vehicle-dedicated Geometry brand witnessed a year-on-year surge of 126% in last month’s sales.
Lynk & Co saw its March sales edge up 3% year over year to 14,004 vehicles. Besides, the auto brand offered 2,541 vehicles to European users via subscription in the past month.
Geely’s premium new energy vehicle brand, ZEEKR, delivered 6,663 vehicles last month, which shot up 271% compared to the year-ago period.
The group’s joint venture brand with Lifan Technology, Livan Auto, was the only sub-brand within the group to post a year-on-year decline in March sales, which stood at 1,394 units (-31% YoY).
