Callisto introduces intelligent driving domain control safety solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automotive safety solution developer, Callisto, successfully implanted its security mechanism program into Horizon Robotics' Journey 5 chip, providing higher security for autonomous vehicles, the company announced on Sunday.

Based on Horizon Robotics' Journey 5 chip and its TogetheROS.AUTO intelligent driving application development kit (TROS.A), Callisto has implemented a security solution for intelligent driving domain control. 

Dedicated to autonomous driving domain controllers, the solution combines software and hardware mechanisms to monitor domain controllers for possible hacker attacks and prevent unauthorized access. The solution employs anomaly detection algorithms to identify potential threats, based on motion status, position, event, and intelligent services data, and takes appropriate mitigating measures.

Leveraging the Journey 5 chip’s characteristics, such as lightweight, easy to develop, support for secondary development, efficient iteration, and compliance design, Callisto is able to design and develop secure functions that refer to the safety experience of millions of vehicles. The integration with TROS.A supports developers in quickly and efficiently creating intelligent driving applications based on a secure in-car network.
