Dongfeng Motor Group sees Apr. 2023 sales jump 29.73% YoY
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In April 2023, Dongfeng Motor Group Company Limited (Dongfeng Motor Group) saw its monthly sales volume came in at 142,496 vehicles, indicating a jump of 29.73% from the earlier year, but facing a 25.91% drop from the previous month.

Among the vehicles sold in the past month, 23,942 units were new energy vehicles, representing a 31.9% surge compared to a year ago.
In the first four months of this year, the group’s cumulative auto sales summed up to 597,118 vehicles, which fell 29.08% from the earlier year.
As to individual brands’ performance, Dongfeng Motor Group’s premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand, VOYAH, delivered 3,339 vehicles in April 2023, which shot up 210.03% over the prior year. In the first four months of 2023, VOYAH’s cumulative delivery volume amounted to 9,021 vehicles, surging 89.12% year over year.
On the other hand, one of the group’s joint ventures, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën sold 7,766 vehicles in April, indicating a 4.74% notch down over a year ago.
Meanwhile, Dongfeng Nissan (including Nissan, Venucia, and Infiniti brands) sold 44,086 vehicles last month, which recovered from March.
Lastly, Dongfeng Honda’s monthly sales came in at 29,028 vehicles in April this year, leaping 75.25% year over year.
