JAC Group‘s export volume soars 82.98% YoY in H1 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In June 2023, Chinese automaker JAC Group achieved a double-digit year-on-year increase in monthly sales, according to its performance report released on July 7.

In June 2023, JAC Group sold 47,465 vehicles, representing a 10.11% growth from the previous year. With a 10.27% year-on-year rise, the automaker’s passenger vehicle sector sold a total of 29,398 vehicles in the past month, of which, 15,569 units were battery-electric passenger vehicles, accounting for 52.96% of the overall passenger vehicle sales volume.

In the first half of this year, JAC Group’s cumulative auto sales amounted to 278,805 vehicles, jumping 18.53% from a year ago. Cumulative sales of battery-electric passenger cars summed up to 66,854 units in the same period, down 16.53% year on year.

In the last month, JAC Group’s auto export volume came in at 14,213 vehicles, representing a 37.18% leap compared to that of the year-ago period. In the first six months of this year, the automaker saw a total of 89,176 vehicles shipped to overseas markets, indicating an 82.98% soar year-over-year.
