Huawei-powered AITO ships OTA upgrade with enhanced features

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 18, AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by SERES and Huawei, launched an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade for three of its models, namely the M5, the M5 Pure Electric, and the M7. The upgrade includes seven major functional enhancements and over ten experience updates.

One of the key improvements is the addition of the HUAWEI DATS dynamic adaptive torque system, available across the entire AITO lineup. This system ensures quicker torque adjustments, providing smoother driving experiences and reducing motion sickness.

Furthermore, the OTA upgrade introduces a new car care feature. When the owner briefly steps out of the vehicle for errands, they can activate the car care mode with a single touch. The car's power supply remains active, and the air conditioning system continues to run, ensuring a comfortable interior environment. When the owner returns, the vehicle maintains a pleasant ambiance, free from discomfort caused by exposure to the scorching sun. 

Additionally, when traveling with pets, activating the car care mode allows the owner to leave the vehicle while keeping the power supply on, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for the waiting pets inside.

The upgraded system also includes an audio equalizer and the Huawei Xiaoyi voice assistant function, which does not require a wake-up word to activate. 

Furthermore, the OTA update introduces a "find my car" feature. During parking, the vehicle autonomously identifies its location and parking level, sending the parking information to the AITO App for the owner's convenience. Within the app, the "My Car" section displays the parking spot's identification number and four surrounding environment photos.
