BYD partners with Stingray to co-develop in-car Karaoke products

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 7, 2023, Chinese leading new energy vehicle maker BYD announced a strategic partnership with Stingray, the industry-leading music media technology company. Commencing from 2023, BYD plans to integrate Stingray's interactive in-car KTV (Karaoke TV) product into selected new energy vehicles, with a global launch spanning multiple markets, promising users a more immersive and entertaining in-car experience.

The entertainment system co-developed by BYD and Stingray is set to support dozens of languages, providing users with a clear and intuitive interface design. Users can easily search for songs by title, artist, lyrics, or genre, with monthly automatic updates to the song library. To ensure driving safety, the system will automatically disable karaoke lyric scrolling on the central screen when the vehicle is in driving mode. Moreover, passengers can enjoy the KTV feature through a mobile app, creating a convenient, fun, and safe in-car entertainment space for BYD users.
