New Deepal SL03 hits market, starting at 145,900 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle brand, Deepal, introduced the upgraded SL03 model at the Chengdu Motor Show 2023, along with the official pricing details.

The revamped vehicle lineup includes four different configurations, ranging in price from 145,900 yuan to 191,900 yuan. 

The exterior of the new Deepal SL03 showcases a bold design evolution, featuring newly added 19-inch sporty wheels that amplify its mechanical aesthetics, exuding both athleticism and strength. A redesigned side skirt with increased decorative width enhances its streamlined design, while the rear bumper has been optimized for a lighter and sportier appearance.

Inside, the SL03 presents a renewed center console armrest box with simplified functional divisions, creating efficient space utilization. The interior embraces new techniques like laser perforation and laser engraving, resulting in a contemporary and upscale ambiance.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and the Android 11 operating system, the new SL03 leverages its robust underlying capabilities to offer an array of functions and expandable scenarios within the cabin, delivering a multi-sensory audio-visual experience. Furthermore, the refreshed SL03 introduces a 64-color ambient lighting system synchronized with music rhythms, complemented by a dynamically tuned 14-speaker sound system that enhances low-frequency tones and bass.

In addition, the new SL03 comes with ventilated and heated front seats, a 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat with 4-way lumbar support, and a class-leading 40W wireless fast charging system that actively monitors and cools devices during charging. The rear compartment offers an independent air conditioning touch screen for added passenger comfort. The backrest angle of the rear seats has been adjusted to a more ergonomic 30 degrees for improved comfort.

Based on its rear-wheel-drive prowess, the all-new SL03 boasts an optimized maximum power output of 190 kW and a peak torque of 320 Nm from its electric motor, enabling the pure electric variant to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Additionally, a newly introduced 135 km extended-range version achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.2 seconds.
