JAC Motor puts QX PHEV on sale, starting at 129,900 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 15, JAC Motor officially launched its first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the QX PHEV, positioning it as a compact SUV. The new vehicle comes in three variants, with prices ranging from 129,900 yuan to 149,900 yuan.

Back on April 12 of this year, JAC Group unveiled its new intelligent new energy vehicle strategy. The QX PHEV represents the embodiment of JAC's "14th Five-Year Plan" intelligent strategy. As JAC Motor's inaugural plug-in hybrid electric model, it marks the beginning of a new era in the company's hybrid electric vehicle lineup.

The JAC QX PHEV features a fully upgraded intelligent cabin with a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup. It incorporates a brand-new card-style user interface for flexible and user-friendly interactions. In terms of voice interaction, it utilizes the latest AI voice technology and algorithm engine from iFlytek, delivering a lifelike communication experience. Integration with Huawei Hicar ensures seamless communication between smartphones and the in-car system, enhancing in-cabin entertainment.

To provide a driving experience closer to pure electric vehicles, the JAC QX PHEV adopts a mature hybrid architecture, focusing on three key aspects, namely, the motor, battery, and electronic control. It delivers three significant hardware upgrades to ensure an outstanding hybrid experience.

Firstly, the QX PHEV is equipped with a high-power 150 kW electric motor, surpassing its peers by 5 to 25 kW in power. Secondly, it comes standard with a high-capacity battery boasting an industry-leading 21.68-degree inclination among its peers. Additionally, in hybrid mode, the QX PHEV achieves seamless coordination between various systems through advanced electronic control, enabling the engine to operate smoothly throughout the journey. This ensures that the hybrid mode provides a similarly smooth experience to that of a pure electric vehicle. With these improvements to its three electric systems, the QX PHEV achieves a class-leading 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.3 seconds.

Furthermore, the JAC QX PHEV offers an impressive all-electric range of 120 kilometers and a maximum comprehensive range of 1,300 kilometers, effectively dispelling range anxiety for potential buyers.
