Baolong Automotive inaugurates two new projects in Ningguo, Anhui province

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 17, Chinese auto parts supplier Baolong Automotive held the inauguration ceremony for its "Longwei New Plant and the Launch of Liquid Cooling Plate and Air Spring Projects" in Ningguo city, a county-level city in Anhui province. Simultaneously, it also celebrated the opening of the "New Factory Building for Air Tanks and Aluminum Components (Tuopusi Phase III)" project.

According to the projects' names, it can be learnt that the two projects were operated by Baolong Automotive’s two wholly-owned subsidiaries, respectively—Anhui Longwei Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. and Anhui Tuopusi Automotive Parts Co., Ltd.

Chairman and President of Baolong Automotive, Zhang Zuqiu, highlighted the significance of the aforementioned two projects in reaffirming the company commitment to continuous development and expanding new project operations in Ningguo city. The new facilities are poised to meet the increasing demand for related product capacity expansion in the coming years. This development will further enhance Baolong Automotive's global capabilities in R&D, production, and delivery, strengthening the company's competitive position in relevant niche industries, Zhang Zuqiu added.

The Longwei New Plant Phase I, covering an area of 48,906 square meters with a floor area of 42,226 square meters, has already commenced operations. The Longwei Phase II and Phase III, with a combined floor area of 28,296 square meters, are currently under construction. The Longwei New Plant primarily focuses on the Liquid Cooling Plate and Air Spring projects, and the inauguration signifies the official commencement of these two projects.

Baolong Automotive said it boasts a robust technical and managerial team in the field of automotive power battery and energy storage liquid cooling plates. It has established industry-leading automated production lines in the Longwei New Plant. Currently, the plant has secured contracts from multiple clients and has commenced mass production. Its production process includes stamping, brazing, spraying, and comprehensive testing, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 units. The company aims to become one of the leading suppliers for liquid cooling plates in China, with a planned total production capacity of 1.5 million units by 2028.

The Longwei New Plant will own 14 automated production lines primarily dedicated to the R&D and production of commercial vehicle chassis air springs, cabin air springs, and driver seat air springs. It features an annual production capacity of 3.5 million units already completed and a planned capacity of 7.4 million units annually in total.

The Tuopusi Phase III new factory spans an area of 17,576 square meters with a floor area of 30,002 square meters. It houses automated production lines for air tanks and aluminum damping components. Its automated production lines for aluminum damping components support five projects of three categories of passenger car air springs in the Hefei industrial part. Currently, four fully automated production lines for air tanks have been established there, with plans to complete eight production lines by the end of this year. Its designed production capacity is set to reach 2 million units annually.
