Changan Qiyuan A07 starts pre-order, starting at 155,900 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 26, Changan Qiyuan, the embodiment of Changan Auto's new energy vehicle aspirations, kicked off pre-orders for its A07 model.

Built on Changan's EPA1 platform, the A07 offers consumers the choice between an extended-range hybrid and a pure electric version. Coming with five trim levels, the A07 mid-to-large size sedan is priced between 155,900 yuan and 176,900 yuan.

In terms of exterior design, the Changan Qiyuan A07 boasts a closed front grille and a LED light strip that runs across the front, giving it a dynamic and elegant appearance. The overall body design is both sleek and minimalistic, and the vehicle's logo subtly encodes binary 1 and 0, symbolizing the fundamentals of digital origins.

With its flowing body lines, sloped design, and a rear featuring a through-type taillight assembly and a slightly raised ducktail design, the A07 exudes a sense of sportiness. The car's dimensions are noteworthy, measuring 4,905mm in length, 1,910mm in width, 1,480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm, firmly placing it in the mid-sized sedan category.

The interior is adorned with wood-grain accents above the armrest, which also doubles as a wireless phone charging area with cooling functions. The ambient lighting and AR-HUD technology enhance the car's tech-savvy and sophisticated ambiance, complemented by the 16-speaker surround sound system and a 15.4-inch 2.5k intelligent screen.

In terms of power, the A07 extended-range variant boasts a 1.5L Atkinson-cycle engine with a peak output of 66kW, while the electric motor delivers 160kW, providing a combined range of 1,200km. The all-electric version impressively packs a 190kW electric motor and offers a CLTC-rated range of 515km.
