Yanfeng, Open Audio collaborate on R&D of immersive audio solutions for intelligent car cabins

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese automotive supplier Yanfeng and the audio-video technology developer Open Audio officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on November 16, aiming to propel joint efforts in the development and market expansion of immersive audio solutions for intelligent car cabins. The partnership seeks to create industry-leading integrated product solutions, ensuring a high-quality acoustic experience for passengers.

As the automotive landscape evolves towards greater intelligence, user expectations for in-car experiences have surged. Beyond enhancing physical products within the interior space, Yanfeng initiated exploration into the emotional realm of in-cabin sound experiences in 2019. This collaboration is geared towards transcending the physical constraints of amplifiers and entertainment systems within the cabin, offering a comprehensive audio solution that includes high-quality immersive sound.

Both parties also aspire, through joint efforts, to elevate HOLOSOUND—a domestically developed immersive in-cabin audio solution with core intellectual property rights—into a globally competitive core technology.
