Changan Automobile posts 23.01% YoY jump in November sales
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. ("Changan Automobile") sold 227,327 vehicles in November 2023, which jumped 23.01% year over year, according to the company’s sales report released on December 6.
Last month, Changan's wholly-owned brands achieved a 52.7% year-on-year spike in new energy vehicle (NEV) sales, which came in at 50,598 units. In the meantime, the company’s wholly-owned brands also boasted an astonishing 518.6% year-on-year soar in overseas sales in November, which amounted to 23,976 units.
In the first eleven months of this year, Changan Automobile’s cumulative sales amounted to 2,337,963 vehicles, rising 11.85% from a year ago. Of the vehicles sold in the Jan.-Nov. period, 1,933,384 units were under the automaker’s wholly-owned brands, representing a 16.74% jump compared to the same period last year.

As to November performance of Changan Automobile’s new energy vehicle brands, the fire new brand, NEVO, delivered 10,287 vehicles. In the meantime, DEEPAL, posted a monthly delivery volume of 16,157 vehicles in the past month. Moreover, AVATR, the premium brand jointly developed with Huawei and CATL, achieved a monthly delivery of 4,080 units in November.
On the other hand, Changan Automobile’s two joint venture brands, Changan Ford and Changan Mazda, reported 19,049 vehicles (+1.04% YoY) and 9,360 vehicles (+63.66% YoY) sold in the past month, respectively.
