China FAW Group is partnering with an Egyptian company to produce affordable electric vehicles (EVs) in Egypt, according to media outlet Bloomberg. Sherif Hamouda, chairman of GV Investments, stated that a subsidiary of Cairo-based GV Investments will begin manufacturing FAW's most affordable model in Egypt in the first quarter of 2025.
