Nissan Motor sells over 690,000 vehicles in China in 2024
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 9, 2025, Nissan Motor announced its December 2024 sales results for China. Across its passenger and light commercial vehicle businesses, the Japanese automaker achieved a total sales volume of 74,918 vehicles in the month.

For the full year of 2024, Nissan Motor's cumulative sales in China amounted to 696,631 vehicles.
Dongfeng Nissan, which includes the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, sold 70,342 vehicles in December alone.
Sepcifically, the Nissan brand recorded monthly sales of 66,337 vehicles in December, representing a month-on-month jump of 20.5%. The brand's annual sales totaled 605,205 units is 2024, which brings the Nissan brand's cumulative sales in China to over 16 million vehicles since entering the market.
Dongfeng Nissan's sedan sales reached 48,391 units in the last month of 2024, up 19.3% from the previous month. The Sylphy series recored sales of 37,272 units in December, indicating a 13% increase month-on-month and resulting in annual sales of 342,395 units.
Dongfeng Nissan's SUV sales totaled 17,946 units in December, surging 23.8% over the month-ago period. The Qashqai lineup contributed 11,882 units (+16.4% MoM) to the monthly volume, which also marked the series' second consecutive month with sales exceeding 10,000 units. Throughout 2024, the Qashqai lineup logged a total sales volume of 112,000 units.
Additionally, the light commercial vehicle segment, represented by Zhengzhou Nissan, recorded sales of 4,576 vehicles in December 2024.
