Great Wall Motor posts 9.65% YoY growth in Feb. 2025 vehicle sales
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In February 2025, Great Wall Motor ("GWM") recorded a sales volume of 77,883 new vehicles, which climbed 9.65% over the previous year, according to an announcement the company issued on March 1.
For the first two months of 2025, GWM sold 158,816 vehicles in total, indicating a year-on-year decline of 9.28%.
Among the vehicles sold last month, 15,121 units were contributed by the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, resulting in a year-to-date volume of 37,384 units.
In the same month, the company recorded a sales volume of 31,068 vehicles for its overseas business, bringing the Jan.-Feb. total to 59,084 units.
GWM also stated that the vehicles priced above 200,000 yuan logged a sales volume of 17,841 units in February, displaying a year-on-year jump of 33.04%.

Breaking down the sales performance by specific brands, HAVAL ranked highest with 43,301 vehicles sold last month, representing a 3.2% drop from the year-ago period. WEY brand achieved an upward movement of 37.52% year on year with 3,643 vehicles sold in the same period. Great Wall Pick-up boasted the biggest year-on-year growth at 65.04% in its February vehicle sales, which came in at 17,263 units. In addition, ORA saw its monthly sales slide 36.86% from a year ago to 1,898 units, while TANK's sales grew 15.72% over the previous year to 11,762 units in the month.
