Geely Automobile posts 84% YoY hike in Feb. 2025 auto sales

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Automobile) reported total sales of 204,910 vehicles in February 2025, marking an 84% year-on-year spike, according to the company's announcement on March 1. This also marks the sixth consecutive month for the automaker to achieve sales surpassing 200,000 units.

Among them, new energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached 98,433 units, up approximately 194% year on year, accounting for over 48% of Geely Automobile's total sales.  

By brands, the Geely brand recorded monthly sales of 173,633 units in February, indicating a year-on-year surge of over 91%. Within this, the Galaxy NEV series achieved sales of 76,132 units, representing a 288% soar from a year ago.  

Lynk & Co sold 17,238 vehicles in February, posting a year-on-year growth of over 30%, with NEVs accounting for about 48% of the brand's total monthly sales. Additionally, Lynk & Co announced that the Lynk & Co 900, the first mass-produced vehicle equipped with NVIDIA's Thor chipset, is set to hit the market in the second quarter of this year.  

ZEEKR, Geely's premium NEV brand, delivered 14,039 vehicles in February, reflecting an 18% month-on-month growth and an 87% surge from a year ago. The brand also recently debuted its new model, the ZEEKR 007 GT.  

On the global market front, Geely Automobile exported 24,920 vehicles in February. The company continues to expand its global presence, with the official establishment of its Philippine subsidiary and localized operations. Meanwhile, ZEEKR has entered the Egyptian market, launching the ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR X, while the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P has officially arrived in Europe.
