Former Bosch executive joins AI chip company Horizon Robotics

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Liming Chen, former Regional President of Chassis Systems Control Division of Bosch in China, joins Horizon Robotics, a Beijing-based artificial intelligence company, as president, Horizon Robotics announced on Wednesday.

Joining Bosch in 1995, Chen once worked as technical expert, senior R&D manager and director in the world’s biggest auto supplier. From 2012 on, Chen started to be responsible for Bosch’s chassis control business in China as the group’s senior vice president of Bosch and president of Chassis Systems Control Division of Bosch in China.

Bosch’s chassis systems control R&D center, whose establishment was led by Chen, is Bosch’s biggest R&D center in China. Under his leadership, Bosch’s relevant sales in China continued to grow for years.

Another former executive of Bosch joined China’s autonomous driving solutions company HoloMatic at the end of June. Jingfang Jiang, former senior vice president of Business Unit Driver Assistance within Chassis Systems Control of Bosch in China, joined HoloMatic as its senior vice president to be responsible for the production and application of autonomous driving related products.
