Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company partners with Yoocar Technology for V2X solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s V2X solution provider Yoocar Technology, on December 21 announced its strategic cooperation with Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company regarding V2X system construction.

Per the 3-year agreement, Yoocar Technology and Dongfeng Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company will jointly work on building a V2X-dedicated ecosystem, smart cabin solutions, and V2X management platform. The cooperation marked the two companies’ goal to improve users’ driving experience and convenience by enhancing the intelligence and connectivity of vehicles.

In addition, the duo will also make joint efforts in the construction, operation, maintenance, and management of 5G-enabled V2X and autonomous driving technologies. Yoocar Technology will provide edge computing cloud and high-precision map cloud services in accordance to Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company’s demands, and promote the application of 5G intelligent connected vehicles.

Yoocar Technology is one of the earliest domestic enterprises in the V2X field. The company carried out in-depth exchanges and cooperation with major automakers on 5G intelligent connected vehicle technology. In 2021, the company helped carmakers realize the world's first large-scale commercial use of 5G SA for V2X. 

Yoocar Technology’s 5G edge computing-powered V2X solution has been implemented in some intelligent connected vehicles, including Geely’s premium new energy vehicle brand, ZEEKR.
