According to the introduction, Chinese Mach-E users can now remotely control the air conditioning, seat heating, and steering wheel heating functions via the mobile application after the upgrade on the vehicle’s internet module. In addition, two new remote-controlled functions, "heated defogging" and "rapid cooling," have been added to eliminate the fog on the windows and windshields beforehand, as well as adjust the temperature inside the car to a comfortable level before getting in.
In addition, the OTA upgrade allows the Mach-Es to complete parking reservations for users. However, the automaker noted that the OTA parking upgrade can only be completed when the vehicle is deactivated. Therefore, owners of the Mach-E should choose to update later or immediately. In the future, the OTA upgrade method will be determined based on the different modules to ensure driving safety during the upgrade process.
The Ford Mach-E is positioned as a mid-sized SUV, with a total of 4 variants currently on sale in China. The model is priced between 249,900 yuan and 369,900 yuan. In terms of range, the Ford Mach-E offers a CLTC range of 492km, 513km, 554km, and 619km depending on the vehicle configuration.
