Neolix permitted to operate unmanned low-speed vehicles in Hainan Province
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Neolix, the Chinese developer of self-driving functional vehicles, has completed tests, evaluations, and audits to become the first licensed low-speed autonomous vehicle enterprise in Hainan Province.

The company has established itself in Hainan by deploying multiple autonomous L4 retail and delivery vehicles in various regions, including scenic areas, industrial parks, colleges, etc. The fleet has addressed the demand for instant consumer needs in campus and park environments, along with unresolved issues, including contactless delivery and difficult parcel collection, thus providing users with a more convenient and intelligent experience.
The license Neolix was granted with allows it to expand its footprints from enclosed parks to public roads, where it intends to leverage its technological, production, and commercial operational expertise to carry out innovative applications.
Neolix is currently working with industry leaders, such as SF Express and China Post, to develop low-speed autonomous vehicle city-level deployment projects in Haikou and Qionghai cities in Hainan. The company aims to deploy more than 1,000 low-speed autonomous vehicles, gradually extending its coverage of unmanned distribution and retail business.
