Chinese automotive SoC supplier ORITEK partners with AutoCore

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 12, ORITEK, China's leading supplier of system-level automotive SoC chips and solutions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with AutoCore, a developer of high-performance secure mobile intelligent computing software and solutions.

ORITEK's product portfolio, including the Longquan series ("Longquan" is Chinese pinyin), covers the chip requirements for intelligent automotive components such as CMS rearview mirrors and intelligent headlights, as well as intelligent area processors (ZCU) and integrated central computing units. These chips are strengthened by industry-leading intelligent algorithms and flexible, layered software and solutions for delivery. 

Meanwhile, AutoCore specializes in developing middleware that supports scalable intelligent mobile computing systems for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, as well as automakers. The middleware is designed to accommodate different vehicle electronic architectures, computing platforms, and formats.

According to the agreement, both companies will explore collaboration in the automotive system platform and intelligent driving-related technology fields, leveraging ORITEK's Longquan series of intelligent automotive chips and AutoCore's AutoCore.OS, the world's first ISO 26262 ASIL-D-certified full-stack autonomous intellectual property vehicle platform middleware. 

The integration and application of the collaboration will establish a solid foundation for software-defined vehicles, while enhancing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of intelligent vehicle manufacturing.
