Beijing-based automotive chip supplier KiSilicon raises over 100 million yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Beijing-based automotive chip supplier KiSilicon announced on May 31 it has recently completed a funding round with over 100 million yuan raised.

The financing round was led by Harvest Capital with participation from Everest Venture Capital. The funds raised will be utilized for the technological R&D of automotive chips, as well as expanding the company’s market scale. 

Prior to this, KiSilicon had received multiple rounds of investment from institutions and industry players such as Cowin Capital, SEE Fund, GF Qianhe, Z&H Investment, and GST, as well as intellectual property investment from Tsinghua University.

Founded in January 2021, KiSilicon specializes in the independent design and development of high-precision and highly reliable positioning perception chips. From its establishment, the company has been dedicated to the automotive sector, focusing on research and development, and has successfully completed the fabrication and mass production of several advanced process chips.

The core team at KiSilicon consists of experienced experts from prestigious institutions such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Their expertise spans various areas including spatio-temporal perception signal processing, high-performance SoC computing chips, mixed-signal chip design and implementation, and high-precision positioning algorithms. From its establishment, the company has been dedicated to the automotive sector, focusing on research and development, and has successfully completed the fabrication and mass production of several advanced process chips, earning recognition and cooperation from leading enterprises.
