Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Baojun, a Chinese automobile marque owned by SAIC-GM-Wuling (“SGMW”), announced on July 18 that its upcoming pure electric family car model for family use, the Baojun Yunduo (translated to "cloud"), will be equipped with the LingOS 2.0 system for intelligent connectivity features.

According to official sources, the LingOS 2.0 system is equipped with the best-in-class vehicle-grade high-performance chip, the MediaTek MT8666, which uses a 12-nanometer process, features a maximum clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, and provides an 8-core computing power. Coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space, the system ensures smooth performance and powerful functionality for the in-car infotainment system.

The Baojun Yunduo carries a 15.6-inch high-definition LED screen, combined with a central control design devoid of physical buttons. The LingOS 2.0 introduces a brand-new UI/UX system. The infotainment interface will offer the ability to customize the home screen, allowing users to freely adjust the layout of the desktop, and resize and move cards according to their preferences.

Furthermore, the Baojun Yunduo adopts an "L-shaped" interactive layout, concentrating key vehicle controls on the left side and the bottom status bar of the central screen. It integrates 18 functions, including automatic headlights, air conditioning, Autohold, 360-degree imaging, navigation, and windows, providing easy access to essential vehicle features. The model also offers three methods of vehicle control: voice command, touchscreen, and steering wheel controls.

The voice interaction system in the Baojun Yunduo has a recognition speed of less than 400 milliseconds, a wake-up rate of 98%, and supports continuous conversation within 20 seconds without re-wake-up. It also allows voice commands for functions such as map navigation, music selection, and phone calls without needing to re-wake-up. The system supports both driver and passenger voice recognition, and provides a "Voice Cloning" feature, enabling users to customize their own unique voice package by recording their own voice.

In terms of software ecosystem, the Baojun Yunduo comes with built-in Amap navigation, enabling synchronization of navigation information between the smartphone and the in-car system. Applications such as Amap, WeChat, Meituan, and Dianping support location sharing. The navigation system provides intelligent travel reminders, notifying users about traffic restrictions, remaining battery levels, low battery alerts, unreachable destinations, charging information, and recommended charging stations.

For human-machine interaction experience, the Baojun Yunduo offers remote control functions through a mobile app, allowing users to remotely control functions such as opening the tailgate, remote lock/unlock, Bluetooth key, finding the car, and parking assistance. The mobile app provides real-time information on vehicle mileage, battery level, and window status.
