City NCA feature goes online in 5 cities for AITO M5 Intelligent Driving Edition

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 2, AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by SERES and Huawei, announced the first-ever OTA update for the AITO M5 Intelligent Driving Edition.

This update brings a host of new features, including the launch of City Navigation Cruise Assistance (NCA) in five cities, comprehensive activation of City Lane Cruise Control (LCC), upgraded Automated Parking Assistance (APA), and the introduction of Smart Driving Reports.

Users in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Chongqing can now experience the City NCA function. It's worth noting that City NCA is a premium feature that requires a subscription to the Huawei ADS Advanced Package for access. Furthermore, City NCA is limited to certain road segments, and its availability may vary in different city areas.

The Highway Navigation Cruise Assistance (Highway NCA) has also undergone further evolution with enhanced lane-changing capabilities and streamlined autonomous lane changes, making highway driving more efficient and convenient, especially when approaching exits in congested scenarios.

With the comprehensive rollout of City LCC, the AITO M5 Intelligent Driving Edition is able to keep the vehicle centered within the current lane, effortlessly handling lane merging situations during congested traffic, ensuring a safe and smooth driving experience on both highways and city roads.

Additionally, the APA function has been improved with a new custom parking feature. Users can now park without relying on parking space markings, enjoying the freedom to customize parking positions through intuitive dragging on the in-car display, catering to various parking environments.

The debut of Smart Driving Reports offers users a detailed summary of their smart driving activities, providing a visual representation of their driving performance, making the smart driving experience more accessible and enjoyable.
