Chinese auto chip supplier Flagchip Semiconductor to build digital platform with Puhua Software

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Suzhou Flagchip Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (referred to as Flagchip) recently joined forces with leading Chinese basic software provider Puhua Software Co., Ltd. (referred to as Puhua Software) to officially unveil a domestically developed integrated digital platform solution for intelligent connected vehicles based on the AUTOSAR standard.

Flagchip stands as a prominent supplier of vehicle-grade controller chips. Boasting the sole native team in China with complete R&D capabilities for 8/16/32-bit MCU automotive applications, the company delivers high-performance vehicle-grade controller chips and solutions compliant with functional safety standards ASIL-B and ASIL-D. All products adhere to rigorous automotive regulations such as AEC-Q100 and related reliability tests. 

Flagchip's ASIL-B FC4150 series products have already achieved mass production via vehicle models from various automakers and Tier1 suppliers. The company’s multi-core, high-performance, functional safety ASIL-D FC7300 series products are currently under development and testing for multiple projects in collaboration with carmakers and Tier1 suppliers as well, encompassing domain controllers, suspension systems, 800/400V BMS, and EPS. 

On the other hand, Puhua Software, an advanced AUTOSAR partner, has dedicated 15 years to advancing research and industrialization in the field of automotive basic software. It has developed a comprehensive range of products and technical solutions spanning from operating systems and toolchains to middleware. 

Puhua Software offers full-lifecycle toolchains for automotive basic software design, development, configuration, integration, and testing, as well as localized one-stop value-added services and ecosystem support for automotive chips. The company’s Puhua Lingzhi safety vehicle control operating system, designed in accordance with ISO 26262 requirements, employs hazard analysis, failure analysis, safety architecture design, safety mechanism design, safety testing, and verification methods. It finds applications in high-safety systems such as powertrains and chassis, and is adaptable for China-made chips.
