NavInfo teams up with Hubei United Investment Digital Industry Group for spatial data infrastructure development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 13, NavInfo, the prominent Chinese automotive intelligence solution provider, joined hands with Hubei United Investment Digital Industry Group for spatial data infrastructure related business.

This collaboration aims to aggregate, manage, and apply spatiotemporal data, primarily from the BeiDou Data Center and high-precision map applications. Together, they aspire to create a novel spatiotemporal data infrastructure in Hubei Province, facilitating the integration of spatiotemporal data into digital government initiatives, smart city development, and empowering various industries' transformation and upgrading.

The signing of this strategic agreement underscores the duo's commitment to advancing resource sharing, mutual complementarity, and mutually beneficial outcomes in the ever-evolving landscape of digital industry development. Leveraging their strategic cooperation in the realm of data elements, both parties will also explore collaborative approaches and models to unlock the value of map data elements.

Zhang Jianping, Vice President of NavInfo, highlighted the company's ongoing efforts in the development of automotive intelligence. Grounded in their spatiotemporal big data capabilities, NavInfo is expanding its footprint into smart cities and the broader Internet of Things (IoT) applications to empower intelligent mobility. 

Starting with this strategic collaboration, the two entities will converge and merge spatiotemporal data elements to build a shared smart city perception platform. This initiative will contribute to the transformation and upgrading of sectors such as intelligent mobility, public safety, urban emergency response, and urban governance, advancing the comprehensive data application and operation in smart cities.
