Moreover, the IM AD High-Speed NOA has further expanded its coverage to another six provinces and nine cities in China. As of now, IM Motors' IM AD system is available in a total of 12 provinces and 26 cities in the country, with plans to achieve nationwide coverage by the end of this year. The company is currently conducting internal testing for City NOA and plans to begin public testing in October.

The BETA version of the IM AD High-Speed NOA has been introduced in six provinces and nine cities and is accessible to IM Motors' L7 and LS7 public testing users. This update also includes a significant expansion of the NOA map in Beijing, covering high-speed elevated road segments beyond the Fifth Ring Road, extending up to and including the Second Ring Road. The official version is expected to be rolled out to all L7 and LS7 users by the end of September.

The newly added coverage areas encompass six provinces, including Guangdong, Shandong, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Hainan, and nine cities, namely Dongguan, Foshan, Jinan, Qingdao, Kunming, Guiyang, Changzhou, Nantong, and Taizhou.

Recent official test videos demonstrate IM AD's successful navigation through challenging scenarios, including a no-protection U-turn in the Lujiazui Financial City area of Shanghai. IM AD aims to achieve "commuting mode, nationwide coverage" by 2024 and enter the "Door to Door" era of autonomous driving, covering the majority of scenarios, by 2025.
