DeepWay delivers 100 smart new energy heavy-duty trucks to Yuanchi New Energy

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 17, DeepWay, the new energy smart truck maker backed by Baidu, delivered the first batch of 100 smart new energy heavy-duty trucks, the DeepWay Shenxiang Xingchen (Chinese pinyin), to Yuanchi New Energy (Shanxi) Co., Ltd.

The initial fleet will be used for logistics and transportation services for China Baowu Steel Group Corporation’s Taiyuan, Shanxi division.

Over the past three years, DeepWay has been dedicated to green and sustainable development, utilizing positive design concepts and advanced vehicle manufacturing processes. The company’s aim is to reduce logistics industry transportation costs, enhance logistics operational efficiency, and reshape the landscape of long-haul logistics.

The Shenxiang Xingchen heavy-duty truck boasts several advantages, including a low-drag body, distributed drive, and algorithm optimization. These features result in lower energy consumption compared to traditional diesel vehicles, significantly cutting energy costs when transitioning from fuel to electricity. Moreover, the incorporation of intelligent technology enhances vehicle safety, ensuring higher uptime for these productive tools.

During the event, Tian Shan, Co-founder and CTO of DeepWay, delivered the opening speech: "The 15 new energy heavy-duty trucks delivered today have already gained widespread recognition from Yuanchi New Energy and Baowu Steel Taiyuan during the trial period.
