Dongfeng, Inceptio Technology delivers co-developed smart heavy-duty trucks

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 24, Dongfeng Trucks alongside Inceptio Technology completed the inaugural delivery of their customized intelligent driving heavy-duty trucks in Yangzhou city, Jiangsu Province.

This delivery marks a milestone with the first 63 out of 300 units of the Dongfeng Tianlong intelligent heavy-duty trucks, constituting the largest single batch delivery of intelligent heavy-duty trucks in the industry. Deployment on national trunk freight routes will initiate regular intelligent driving transportation services for customers, further amplifying the commercialization and scaling of intelligent driving technology.

Through collaboration with Inceptio Technology and Yunyi Logistics, Dongfeng Trucks showcases effective operational scenarios for intelligent heavy-duty truck operations in express logistics, maximizing operational value, enhancing fuel economy, ensuring safety, and optimizing the entire lifecycle.

Presently, Inceptio's Xuan Yuan intelligent driving system-equipped heavy trucks have achieved over 60 million accident-free kilometers in safe operation distance, with Inceptio's NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) function successfully covering national trunk highways.

Dongfeng Trucks emerges as one of the earliest enterprises in China to demonstrate the commercial application of intelligent unmanned driving technology. The company’s products have been deployed in trunkline logistics, ports, and mining areas, leading in both open and enclosed scenarios. In the trunkline logistics domain alone, Dongfeng Trucks has sold nearly 700 L2+ intelligent driving trucks, accumulating over 70 million kilometers of operation distance across 100 logistics routes.
