Since its establishment in 1997, GAC Group has been a cornerstone of China's automotive industry. In the past year alone, GAC Group introduced 18 car series, 25 SUV series, and 6 MPV series into the market, effectively meeting the diverse needs of the Chinese market with its multi-product strategy. The group's sales achievements were particularly notable in 2023, with production and sales both exceeding 2.5 million units. Notably, the new energy vehicle sector posted a 77.55% year-on-year spike in annual sales, accounting for 58% of the group's overall sales.

Starting in 2013, GAC Group began developing intelligent driving systems within the autonomous driving field, successfully establishing a full-chain development capability from Level 2 to Level 4 platforms. GAC's ADiGO PILOT was among the first to achieve bidirectional seamless switching between Level 3 autonomous driving functions and Level 2++ pilot assist driving functions. Furthermore, the group's Robotaxi, based on the Level 4 autonomous driving technology, continues to deepen its demonstration operations, signifying an orderly commercial application of autonomous driving.

HESAI remains committed to independent innovation, continuously breaking through core technologies to create new productive forces, said the company. By increasing investment in R&D and applying leading vertical integration technology and a robust self-built automotive-grade production system, HESAI has built long-term technological barriers in the LiDAR industry. By the end of 2023, HESAI had delivered over 300,000 units of LiDAR. According to data from Gasgoo Auto Research Institute, HESAI ranked first in terms of annual ADAS LiDAR installation volume in China last year.
