Z-one Tech rolls off 10,000th-set smart car central brain ZXD1

Beijing (Gasgoo)- SAIC Motor's automotive intelligence arm Z-one Tech recently saw the 10,000th set of first-generation central brain, ZXD1, successfully roll off the production line, the company announced on June 18.

The entire process from product design and system design to software and hardware development and production integration of the ZXD1 is fully led by Z-one Tech. This achievement marks the beginning of large-scale mass production for Z-one Tech's first integrated hardware-software, cross-domain central brain, which promises to significantly enhance personalized user experiences in intelligent vehicle control, intelligent cockpits, and intelligent scenarios.

The ZXD1 utilizes Qualcomm 8295 and NXP S32G chips, fully leveraging computational resources to achieve high-efficiency integration and utilization of hardware resources across vehicle-cloud and inter-chip perception, computing, and storage. It supports rapid software iteration, high-speed data flow, and computing within the vehicle cockpit through Z-one Tech's integrated full-stack cloud management operating system and service-oriented SOA software architecture.

The powerful computing powers of the high-end CPU, GPU, and NPU chips enable full-scenario 3D interaction and AI applications within the vehicle. Additionally, the intelligent gateway function module embedded within the S32G chip enhances vehicle control intelligence, providing stable and smooth control response speeds to ensure an optimal overall vehicle experience.

The ZXD1, built on Z-one Tech's Galaxy® intelligent vehicle-cloud integrated full-stack architecture, is already being applied in SAIC Motor's wholly-owned high-end new energy vehicle brands, with plans for future applications in joint venture brands.
