BYD to equip entire vehicle lineup with God’s Eye advanced intelligent driving system

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-  On February 10, BYD held its intelligence strategy launch event, introducing its "Intelligent Driving for All" initiative.

As part of its vehicle intelligence strategy, BYD has developed the God’s Eye technology matrix, equipping all models with the advanced intelligent driving capabilities.

The God’s Eye C version will debut on 21 vehicle models, spanning price ranges from 70,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan, including the affordable Seagull.

BYD's God's Eye system comprises three distinct tiers:

God's Eye A – DiPilot 600 (Triple-LiDAR advanced intelligent driving) for YANGWANG models.

God's Eye B – DiPilot 300 (LiDAR-based advanced intelligent driving) for DENZA and select BYD models.

God's Eye C – DiPilot 100 (Triple-camera advanced intelligent driving) for BYD-branded vehicles.

BYD said the God’s Eye C system integrates front-view triple cameras, 5R12V sensing hardware, and an end-to-end control algorithm, achieving industry-leading architecture, sensor technology, algorithms, and data processing. It focuses on critical real-world driving scenarios, including:

Highway and urban expressway navigate on autopilot (HNOA): Performs ramp entry/exit, lane keeping, cruise driving, autonomous lane changes, and obstacle avoidance based on navigation routes.

Automated valet parking (AVP): Enables self-parking upon exit, remote retrieval, and seamless vehicle access, eliminating the hassle of manual parking.

Memory navigate on autopilot (MNOA): Designed for frequent commuting routes, handling traffic lights, complex intersections, automated overtaking, obstacle avoidance, and cooperative lane changes for a smoother driving experience.

BYD added it has established a comprehensive safety framework for the God's Eye. The God's Eye C system delivers:

Over 1,000 km of autonomous driving with zero takeovers.

Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) at 100 km/h, with future support for 120 km/h and 140 km/h.

99% success rate in valet parking, ensuring instant decision-making in critical situations to prevent accidents.
