August, 2008 sales ranking of compact SUVs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Honda CR-V amounted to 7,062 units, up 42.67% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking of compact SUVs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Haval CUV amounted to 4,233 units, down 16.76% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 36,663 units. August sales of the Sportage reached 2,160 units, and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 19,376 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
