August, 2008 sales ranking of compact SUVs from China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Haval CUV amounted to 4,233 units, down 16.76% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking of compact SUVs from China's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Leopaard amounted to 1,636 units, up 34.43% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 12,567 units. August sales of the Santa Fe reached 948 units, and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 5,434 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
