August, 2008 sales ranking of SUVs from Japan's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Honda CR-V amounted to 7,062 units, up 42.67% year on year, the first on August, 2008 sales ranking of SUVs from Japan's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Qashqai amounted to 1,790 units, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 14,981 units. August sales of the Prado reached 1,446 units, increasing 25.52% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 10,126 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
