Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 55,489 units, up 6.09% year on year, the first on March, 2009 sales ranking by all OEMs, according to the March sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of SAIC-VW amounted to 54,905 units, up 6.84% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 137,167 units. March sales of SAIC-GM reached 44,911 units, increasing 3.83% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 113,078 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
