Car and City: Shanghai tops other cities by Li ONE registrations in June 2022
In June 2022, Chinese NEV startup Li Auto recorded monthly registrations of 13,162 units, including 13,049 Li ONEs and 113 Li L9s, according to the data compiled by Gasgoo Auto Research Institute ("GARI").
In terms of June registrations of locally-made new energy passenger vehicles ("NEPVs"), Li Auto ranked 9th among all auto brands on the Chinese mainland and 2nd among Chinese NEV startups.

Last month, the Li ONE saw its monthly registrations surge 66.3% year on year and grow 12.7% month on month. Among all homemade NEPV models, the Li ONE ranked 8th by June registrations.
In June, Shanghai was honored the No.1 city by monthly registrations of the Li ONE. There were six provincial capital cities among the top 10 cities by June Li ONE registrations, namely, Chengdu (2nd), Hangzhou (3rd), Xi'an (4th), Zhengzhou (6th), Shijiazhuang (9th), and Wuhan (10th). However, either Beijing or Guangzhou didn't enter the top 10 rankings.
For the first half of 2022, Li Auto's cumulative registrations amounted to 60,854 units (+99.3% YoY), 60,741 units of which were Li ONEs.
Among the top 10 cities by the Jan.-Jun. registrations of the Li ONE, six spots were occupied by provincial capital cities, namely, Hangzhou (1st), Chengdu (2nd), Zhengzhou (3rd), Xi’an (7th), Guangzhou (9th), and Shijiazhuang (10th). Except Beijing, the three metropolises—Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Guangzhou—all appeared on the top 10 cities list.
