Geely’s ZEEKR delivers 3,116 vehicles in Jan. 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand of Geely, delivered 3,116 vehicles in Jan. 2023, representing a year-on-year drop of nearly 12%, according to an announcement Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (“Geely Auto”) issued on Wednesday.

Compared to the previous month, ZEEKR's monthly deliveries plunged 73% in the first month of 2023.

As of Jan. 2023, ZEEKR had cumulatively delivered 81,064 vehicles.

The premium car brand currently has two models for sale, namely, the ZEEKR 001 and the ZEEKR 009. In 2023, it plans to put two all-new models onto the market, according to a letter ZEEKR issued to its staff members in late Jan.

Through its WeChat account, ZEEKR has teased its third model, which is expected to be officially unveiled at the Auto China 2023 in Shanghai.

According to the letter, ZEEKR is ambitious to deliver 140,000 vehicles through 2023, indicating that the EV maker expects a year-on-year growth of at least 95% in this year's delivery volume.

In the aspect of automobile intelligence, ZEEKR said it had taken the lead in the domestic auto markets regarding intelligent architecture and intelligent driving technology. This year, it will strive to make breakthroughs in the R&D of smart cockpits.

As for the overseas business expansion, ZEEKR plans to make foray into the European market this year.
