JAC Group's Yiwei 3 to kick off presale on May 20

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JAC Group announced that the Yiwei 3, its latest electric compact model under the new brand Yiwei, will officially hit the market on June 18.

The vehicle has already made its debut at the Auto Shanghai 2023, where blind pre-orders were kicked-off. As per official announcements, pre-sale for the Yiwei 3 will commence on May 20.

As JAC Group's new electric compact vehicle, the Yiwei 3 features body dimensions of 4,025mm in length, 1,770mm in width, and 1,560mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm, making it slightly smaller than the BYD Dolphin but larger than the Seagull. 

Its overall exterior design emphasizes the current popular trend of small-sized cars, featuring round-shaped headlights, pop-out door handles, and petal-shaped alloy wheels.

The Yiwei 3 is equipped with a 15.6-inch floating multimedia display screen in the cockpit. It adopts a joystick-style gear shifting mechanism, and between the front seats, a wireless charging pad is provided for mobile phones. The Yiwei 3 offers four interior color options.

Riding on JAC Group's new DI pure-electric platform, the Yiwei 3 is available with two power options, 70 kW and 100 kW. The vehicle will be equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by Gotion High-Tech, offering three different driving ranges, 305km, 405km, and 505km.
