Changan Deepal S7 kicks off presale, starting at 169,900 yuan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 20, Deepal, Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle-dedicated brand, officially commenced pre-orders for its first mid-size SUV, the Deepal S7, with an official pre-order price of 169,900 yuan to 239,900 yuan.

Leveraging Deepal's robust manufacturing process, the Deepal S7 achieves a remarkable height-to-width ratio of 84.2%, showcasing a sporty and low-profile stance, poised for exhilarating performance. Enabled by a digitalized intelligent manufacturing platform, the Deepal S7 boasts a class-leading 61% wheelbase ratio. Combined with an 880mm ultra-short front overhang design and a 970mm short rear overhang design, the vehicle maximizes space utilization efficiency.

The luxurious yacht-inspired interior of the Deepal S7 offers premium quality and cutting-edge intelligence. The standard AR-HUD holographic augmented reality system seamlessly integrates with intelligent driving and in-car systems, transforming the driver's front field of vision into an intelligent information screen. The 15.6-inch center control screen is capable of rotating up to 15° to the left or right like a sunflower, providing voice control and automatic welcome functions for both the driver and the passenger.

The Deepal S7 is powered by the EPA1 digital platform. The pure electric version provides a CLTC range of 520/620 km with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in as low as 6.7 seconds and energy consumption as low as 14.2 kWh/100 km. Meanwhile, the extended-range version achieves a combined CLTC fuel consumption of as low as 4.95 L/100 km, with a pure electric range of up to 200 km.
