BYD launches DOLPHIN BEV model in Australian market, starting at AUD$38,890

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD, in partnership with its Australian collaborator EV Direct, introduced the BYD DOLPHIN during a launch event at Sea World in Gold Coast on June 22.

This event not only showcased the vehicle but also revealed its pricing details. The Dynamic model is priced at AUD$38,890 (around 187,000 yuan), the Premium model at AUD$44,890 (around 216,000 yuan), and the Sports model at AUD$49,990 (around 240,000 yuan).

The introduction of the BYD DOLPHIN expands the options available to Australian consumers, said BYD. Inspired by marine elements, the vehicle exhibits a design language that exudes a refreshing appeal. With dimensions of 4,290mm x 1,770mm x 1,570mm, the BYD DOLPHIN ensures a comfortable ride and agile maneuverability.

Additionally, the e-Platform 3.0 enhances interior space and offers versatile configuration options. Equipped with fully foldable rear seats, the BYD DOLPHIN provides a maximum storage capacity of up to 1,310 liters, striking a harmonious balance between passenger comfort and storage convenience.
