BYD launches DOLPHIN BEV model in Singapore

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 3, BYD, in collaboration with local authorized dealer Vantage Automotive in Singapore, held a media launch event for the BYD DOLPHIN, marking the official release of its first pure electric vehicle built on "ocean aesthetics" in Singapore.

The DOLPHIN is the second pure electric passenger car model brought to the Singapore market by BYD. Drawing inspiration from ocean aesthetics, it offers a comfortable space comparable to a B-segment car, said the automaker.

Huang Chunquan, General Manager of BYD Singapore, said at the launch event, "In 2022, BYD officially launched the BYD ATTO 3 model in Singaporean, which has received market acclaim and was honored the champion model in the pure electric vehicle market in Singapore by Jan.-May 2023 sales. Today, the launch of the BYD DOLPHIN indicates that the BYD Ocean Series starts gaining presence in the country. We believe it will be welcomed by customers of all ages and will enter the lives of more Singaporeans, accompanying users into a green future with ease."

Following the media launch event, the dealer will hold a public vehicle launch event from the 4th to the 9th, along with test drives, providing an opportunity for Singaporean citizens and potential customers to experience the agility and vitality of the BYD DOLPHIN.
