BYD launches logo of personalized brand Fangchengbao

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 14, BYD's specialized and personalized brand, Fangchengbao (translated to “Formula Leopard”), unveiled its brand logo.

According to the official explanation, as a global professional personalized brand for new energy vehicles, Fangchengbao is committed to exploring the future of personalized automotive lifestyles through its professional new energy "Leopard Power" technology, collaborating with users. The overall logo design is inspired by surging clouds and continuous mountain ranges, as well as dynamic curves and electrifying currents, reflecting the excitement of “electricity” and limitless possibilities that Fangchengbao will bring to users' experiences and the vast landscapes of life.

In terms of design, the structure of the Fangchengbao logo draws inspiration from the profile of a double spiral curve, resembling a Möbius strip and the mathematical symbol for infinity (∞), embodying infinite possibilities. It represents both the transformative power of brand's professional new energy "Leopard Power" technology, and the multitude of possibilities and vibrant colors in personalized lifestyles.

BYD said in the new era of electric and intelligent vehicles, "personalization" will become a new track that Fangchengbao pioneers and leads. The newly unveiled logo symbolizes the concentrated thinking and exploration of Fangchengbao and its users regarding "personalized cars" and "personalized lifestyles" in the future.

This vision may soon take its first step towards realization. On July 4, BYD claimed that Fangchengbao's first mass-produced model would be named "Bao 5" (Leopard 5).

Considering the information previously released by BYD, the Bao 5 is positioned as a new energy rugged SUV, focusing on off-road and various other scenarios. The model is expected to be equipped with the DiSus-p intelligent body control system and BYD's new hybrid platform, DMO. Expected features include a dual-motor setup, three differential locks (front, middle, and rear), etc. It would feature a combined range of over 1200 kilometers, a maximum power of 500 kilowatts, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time in the 4-second range. Additionally, the model offers six different driving modes.
