The model has a length, width, and height of 4,980/1,890/1,495mm, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm.
BYD stated that the renaming of the vehicle to "Seal DM-i" is a direct response to user feedback and demand.
In terms of exterior design, the vehicle inherits design elements from the OCEAN X concept car, with slightly raised hood sides and sharp lines in the middle. The car adopts a coupe-like design, and the two independent waistlines on the front and rear fenders give the body a more streamlined and concise appearance.
Furthermore, the BYD Seal DM-i comes with two NEDC range options on battery power alone: 121km and 200km. It is claimed to be the only plug-in hybrid sedan in its class that provides a pure electric driving range of 200km.
In terms of power, according to the information previously disclosed, the vehicle is equipped with a 1,497mL engine with a maximum power of 102kW and can run at a top speed of 180km/h.
