Baosteel, Vitesco Technologies join hands to boost electric motor tech development

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In a significant stride towards promoting green transportation and advancing electric vehicle (EV) propulsion technology, Chinese steel giant Baosteel and German automotive supplier Vitesco Technologies recently sealed a strategic partnership agreement in Shanghai, according to the latter's press release. 

The collaboration, anchored by Baosteel's BeCOREs® silicon steel, will establish a multifaceted win-win relationship encompassing high-grade non-oriented silicon steel for EV drivetrains, characterized by eco-friendliness, technological innovation, and supply chain development. This strategic alliance will facilitate comprehensive, multi-dimensional cooperation between Baosteel and Vitesco Technologies.
