Great Wall Motor’s new energy vehicle terminal channel so far expands to 1,056 sites nationwide
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Great Wall Motor ("GWM") on August 17 updated its strategic efforts in enhancing services and operations, while simultaneously expediting the expansion of its sales and service channels for new energy vehicles (NEVs).
As of now, the company has successfully deployed NEV terminals in 1,056 locations nationwide, with projections indicating a rise to 1,200 by the end of this year.

Entering the year of 2023, GWM has made significant strides in the intelligent new energy vehicle arena. With a flurry of new products hitting the market and a rapid expansion of terminal channels, the proportion of NEVs in the company’s overall sales has been steadily climbing month by month. Notably, in July of this year, NEVs accounted for over a quarter of GWM's total sales.
Delving into specifics, GWM sold a total of 28,896 new energy passenger vehicles, marking a remarkable year-on-year spike of 163% and achieving yet another monthly sales record. In the span of January to July, cumulative sales of the company’s new energy passenger vehicles amounted to 121,965 units, reflecting a surge of 64% compared to the previous year.
Breaking down the sales by brand, HAVAL achieved NEV sales of 10,105 units in July, marking its second consecutive month of surpassing the ten-thousand-unit mark. The cumulative sales for HAVAL’s NEVs in the January to July period reached 37,754 units. The NEV-dedicated ORA brand recorded sales of 10,116 units in July, amassing a total of over 380,000 units sold since its inception. Meanwhile, sales for WEY-branded NEVs stood at 6,652 units, and TANK sold 2,023 NEVs in July.
