Geely-bakced Livan Auto starts presale of Livan 7 all-electric coupe SUV

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Livan Auto, a Chinese new energy vehicle maker co-founded by Geely and Lifan Technology, on August 22 commenced the pre-sale for the Livan 7, an all-electric compact coupe SUV crafted upon the all-new GBRC (Global Battery Rapid Change) platform. Coming with four trim levels, the new model features a presale price range of 133,700 yuan to 163,700 yuan. It is expected to hit the market in September this year.

Among these offerings is a limited-time opportunity to secure a reservation with a mere 700-yuan deposit, which can be credited towards a 2,000-yuan reduction in the vehicle's price. Additionally, those who commit to purchasing will bask in a 50-yuan-per-day delivery subsidy (applicable from the reservation date until the official delivery notice, capped at 2,000 yuan), along with a one-year official vehicle pricing assurance service for first-time non-commercial users. The Livan 7's exterior design stays true to the dynamic profile first showcased by the concept model. Its front fascia impresses with its seamless LED light strip and segmented headlights, harmoniously united by an active-closure grille. The rear echoes this aesthetic with a through-type taillight configuration complemented by a hatchback-style tailgate. A rooftop-mounted LiDAR system hints at the vehicle's capability for advanced driver assistance features.

The vehicle's electric prowess is underscored by a range of 550 to 750 kilometers under CLTC conditions, bolstered by battery swapping capabilities. These capsule batteries stand tall with their high energy density, all-weather reliability, and extended life cycle. In configurations from 40 to 100 kWh, these powerhouses cover a spectrum from 300 to 700 kilometers, empowering drivers to tailor their electric journey based on unique needs.
